Last weekend I trekked 8 hours by bus (two ways) to Tofo Beach. On the way there the child in the row behind me vomited, on the way back the women with the feverish baby sitting next to me vomited on my leg. It was a trip full of sacrifice.
Upon boarding the bus at 5am on Friday morning I heard chatter coming from a few gals with funny British accents in the back row of the bus. These gals were quickly enamored by my charm and officially became my friends at 9:30am while I enjoyed my breakfast beer. My new buddies are co-eds studying medicine and veterinary sciences (is that what it’s called?) at Bristol University in the UK. The 5th member of the Tofo Beach gang was Andrew, someone that I had met in a hostel the night before getting on the Tofo bus and that the British gals had met several hostels before in South Africa. He’s traveling from Capetown to Egypt.
Tofo is supposed to be one of the nicest beaches in Africa, but when you compare it to something in Brazil it is average at best. On top of that the sun barely came over the two days we were there. We did however get to see humpback whales breaching off the coast and some dolphins floundering around. It was pretty fun. Here’s a short video.

Where is the part where you make your move on these pretty ladies?
