Banapple Gas was, in the '70's, purchasable at Head Shops. it was amyl nitrate (or amyl nitrite?), not sure. Wiff it for a buzz, and it was legal. There were other names but one was sold as banapple gas. Oh the good ole days.

Dear Hluvuku-Adsema,
Hello, my name is Abbie Knudsen from Drury University’s Students in Free Enterprise team in Springfield, Missouri, USA. SIFE is a non-profit, collegiate organization focused on promoting economic opportunity through a variety of endeavors. As a team we are constantly looking for projects and opportunities which will empower individuals which we work with, while also equipping them with skills that can improve their overall standard of living. This year we have started a program called Full Circle. The mission of Full Circle is to break the cycle of poverty by empowering artisans through a full circle approach which begins with micro-lending and ends in the marketplace.
In order to accomplish our mission, we envision a process which begins with micro-loans funded by lenders worldwide and ends with those loans being distributed to struggling artisans and entrepreneurs. With these loans artists will be able to create products which will be marketed and sold via the Full Circle website. Ultimately, the Full Circle initiative seeks to educate buyers about meaningful purchases, while also serving as a distribution chain for communities abroad.
Our goal is to serve as a bridge between entrepreneurs and consumers across the globe through the Full Circle website. We also wish to provide an outlet in which any individual can significantly impact artisans through micro-lending. In order to achieve these goals we would like to identify micro-financing institutions which can act on behalf of Full Circle in order to connect with local artisans. We believe that your company aligns with our purpose and we would be interested in fostering a partnership that benefits both parties.
We hope that Full Circle is within the current scope of Hluvuku-Adsema. We look forward to hearing about the needs in your community and how we can better address them together. Please respond with any questions and/or ideas you may have about Full Circle or our mission. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Abbie Knudsen

Banapple Gas was a popper or amy-nitrate that had the aroma of bananas and sour apples and it was sniffed for a cool rush. It was good stuff and it is not to be found anywhere on the web. If anyone knows where to buy it please let me know!

Hi Hesma,

Sorry for the delayed response, I have been out of town. I do not have contact information for the Cool Running guest house. It is a very small operation without too many amenities. If you want to stay there just ask a local for directions upon arriving at the island, that's what I did. It was a great trip. Enjoy, and let me know if there are any questions I can help you out with.
