<p style="margin-bottom:0;">Here are a couple shots I took yesterday that in my opinion are quintessentially Maputan. Most construction in Maputo dates back to the Portuguese days and it shows. Facobol is by far my favorite. I have a romantic view that the Facobol billboard is some sort of soccer ad from the 70s that has regally been wilting away ever since. The apartment building is very  typical of Maputan architecture.</p>
